West Street Complex (Walpole Little League)
Extra Bases Baseball Clinic is a youth baseball clinic specifically designed for the development of Walpole Little League players. All Walpole residents between the ages of 8-12 are eligible for instruction.
Bill O’Connell, Head Baseball Coach at Braintree High School, Chris Costello, Head Baseball Coach Walpole High School and there staff will be conducting the 16th annual Little League clinic at the West Street Fields. Adult supervision and coaching will be the trademark of this program. Daily individual skills instruction include: throwing and catching, ground ball techniques, batting lectures and drills, pitching, outfield, catching and middle infield stations, rundown execution, proper base running and slide drills.
Each day will provide a lunch break and a special event period competing for daily baseball-related prizes. The last hour of each day will conclude with an organized game.
JUNIOR REBELS WEEK!
Our new junior REBELS program is geared toward players ages 6-7. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game from our experienced staff who combine both instruction and fun to help players understand the game better as well as grow a passion for the game in a “camp” environment.
Each day players will participate in drills to develop the individual baseball skills as well as play a live coach pitch game. Each day runs from 9am-Noon at West Street Fields and is perfect for future REBELS!
This camp is in compliance with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the Walpole Board of Health.
